What’s involved?

  • Appraisals are often used when home owners are thinking of selling and want to understand what their home is worth in the market today. Many people also use appraisals for insurance purposes or when they are thinking of refinancing.

  • There are two options for conducting an appraisal.

    The preferred method is where I view your property in person as I believe that every home is unique. This allows me to see any improvements that have been made to the property and its condition. I will also be able to ascertain what tasks may need to be completed to get your home ready before going to market.

    Viewing your property in person allows me to provide you with the most accurate appraisal however there are times when this is not possible (for example if a property is tenanted). There is where a desktop assessment may be required.

  • The first inspection for the appraisal takes approximately 15-30 minutes. I will then create a personalised and in-depth property report which you will receive within 24-48 hours.
